This autumn I am running a series of Dorset button making workshops at the Tolpuddle Old Chapel.
Saturday 12 October 2024 (10.30-12.00) - Basic Dorset Cross Wheel Buttons, a beginners session working a simple cross wheel button.
Saturday 2 November 2024 (10.30 -12.30) - Follow on Dorset Cross Wheel Buttons, extend your cross wheel button work by adding colour, patterns and beads.
Saturday 9 November 2024 (10.30-12.00) - Dorset Singleton Button Brooch Making, create a button from Liberty fabric and finish it as a brooch.
Saturday 16 November 2024 (10.30-12.00) - Dorset Posy Brooch Making, create a chunky vintage style brooch as a variant of a cross wheel button, open to beginners.
Saturday 7 December 2024 (10.30-12.00) - Dorset Knob 'Fairy Light' Ornaments, create a contemporary Dorset knob button to use as a decoration.
Saturday 14 December 2024 (10.30-12.00) - Dorset Button Christmas Decorations, make simple cross wheel decorations to hang on your tree.
