I am pleased to announce that I am holding a series of Dorset button workshops hosted by Becca at Studi0ne, 34 South Street, Bridport DT6 3NQ over the coming weeks. Brief details and dates below, for further information and to book please contact Becca direct.

Tuesday 30 April 2024 (10.00-11.30) - Basic Dorset Cross Wheel Buttons, a beginners session working a simple cross wheel button and introducing colour change.

Tuesday 14 May 2024 (10.00-11.30) - Dorset Grindle Button, learn how to make an unusual button over a stuffed ball base.

Tuesday 28 May 2024 (10.00-11.30) - Dorset Knob 'Fairy Light' Button, create a contemporary button as a decoration using traditional techniques.

In addition I am running a series of free Dorset button making workshops at the Tolpuddle Old Chapel under the Historic England Everyday Heritage Grant Programme. Please see the Tolpuddle Old Chapel Trust website for further details.

Saturday 4 May 2024 (10.30-12.00) - Singleton Button Brooch, create a button from Liberty fabric and finish it as a brooch.

Saturday 18 May 2024 (10.30-12.00) - Basic Dorset Cross Wheel Buttons, a beginners session working a simple cross wheel button.

Wednesday 29 May 2024 (10.30-12.00) - Singleton Button Brooch, create a button from Liberty fabric and finish it as a brooch.
